Dianne MacRae

Dianne likes to work  on several different ideas and scales at the same time. At the moment she is developing a series of large forms for the garden using stoneware and crank clays. She works from drawings in her sketchbook, developing her observational drawings of a range of natural forms, for example flowers, rock formations and stones into more abstract 3D constructions.

At the same time as she is developing a variety of hand-built vessels with surface decorations that may have bubbles and balls attached but not necessarily... ...and while all this is going on she sits and observes in the jacuzzi and the gossips, Fishwives and Bathing Belles jut arrive... but the fish are purely imaginary...
