Kerstin Goulding
Kerstin weaves textiles for floors and walls influenced by Scandinavian traditions and techniques. The simple geometrical shapes, dictated by warp and weft, are a recurring theme. Colour and texture is an integral part of the work. She uses mainly natural or recycled materials, most of which are hand dyed.
Kerstin was closely involved with the making of commemorative tapestries for "Northampton Town 800 Years" which hung in the Derngate Theatre. Other local work includes a large hanging in Brixworth Library and Community Centre.
