I have always been captivated by the special qualities of glass. The way in which it reflects light, presents and ever-changing, fluid-like intangible. It is totally seductive. yet, hand engraving is a long-established and exacting craft which is gradually disappearing.

My work encourages the study of natural form in its infinite detail. I have also developed a passion for presenting human foibles on glass by trying to capture these particular situations. At the same time, I try to maximize the qualities of the glass itself by attempting to harness it's fluidity to instil a sense of movement into my images. Sly observations on the human condition are a natural feature of much of my work.

Each of my pieces is unique.
