Pasqualina Iarrobino
Pasqualina studied at Manchester Metropolitan University, Crewe and Alsager Faculty gaining a degree in BA (Hons) Crafts: Weave and Metal.
Her primary pursuit then and now lies with the development of three-dimensional hand weaving as an integral part of the weaving process to produce sculptural and self-supporting fashion and interior accessories. Each item is unique and naturally evolves from the previous product.
A variety of yarns are used in the warp and weft including silk, paper yarn and wire; the enamelled copper and brass wire weft insertion complements the structures whilst providing stability and adding a lustrous quality to the products.
